2. Get Zhang Fei. Period.
3. The Campaign should be your sole source of Jade.
4. Sell items recieved from drops.
5. Never attack a Chinese player. This deserves two spots.

I wonder if the rescue skill (healing spell) is powerful enough to be considered a golden rule. I'm sure there are people who never use healing, but it helps. |

I'm sure there are people who never use healing, but it helps. Zhang Fei vs whoever the starter cavalry, to me is Suvorov vs Lannes. Everyone has their opinion (Except Suvorov is better) I find cavalry to be infinitely better than infantry. Also, the strongest generals (MA Chao, Lu Bu, etc.) Are cavalry and will shred Zhang Fei instantly |

I would get Cao Cao, yes. But you would end up with 2 infantry generals. I thought it'd be best to limit it to 1 while you have 4 cav, 4 archers. |

It has always been better for me to use 2, it allows for some sneaky tricks. Once I sent Cao Cao by the defense for a mission and everyone was attacking him so I had a clear path. |

These days I log in for the daily treasures, and see a new person has successfully raided my province. Probably a Chinese player.
