Is Europa Universalis IV good? Should I get it? Looks complex. Warning... EU4, or EU3 for that matter, makes the Civilization series look like a LeapFrog pre-Kindergarden Teletubbies game by comparison. Complex doesn't quite describe the depth of Europa Universalis 3 & 4. It's like Multi-Variable Calculus (a really complicated and difficult University-level math course) being called "complex". It's no Algebra II, sonny boy! I had borrowed a friend's laptop that had EU4 on it, and I played it for a month during summer 1 or 2 years ago. I picked the STRONGEST country in the entire world (which is France) and manages to fall on my face in an epic meltdown at the EASIEST level. Same thing happened with me playing Castile 2nd time, but the meltdown happened much slowier than the first time. Note: I even had read the entire manual for EU4 before playing, and I still ended up failing my first ten games pretty badly, but getting slightly less bad in each try. Now... I can yawn and ROFLstomp Castile and France with the Ottomans or Poland-Lithuania (both has a tech disadvantage in comparsion to western Europe). I personally have EU3, all of the DLCs, etc.. for 8 dollars in a sale and I never will ever have to buy another DLC. EU4, on the other hand, makes your game obsolete and defunct in every 6 months with a new DLC required for some random core mechanic. In my latest Ottoman game on EU3 right now, I have to STOP fighting wars not because I was getting beaten, but because I was gaining too much infamy from being TOO SUCCESSFUL. At that time, I was involved in 6 seperate wars with 22 different countries all over Europe with nothing but my own country and its vassals, no allies. @khurramzafar would be proud of me.

Is Europa Universalis IV good? Should I get it? Looks complex. I have 400+ hours of playtime and I'm still learning new things every now and then. Its a pretty deep game. Easy to learn, impossible to master.

This is weird, I went to my channel analytics, and some guy from the Rpublic of Georgia watched all of my videos for exactly two seconds and then subscribed, unsubscribed, and left.
