I speak British English and write in British English. (Actually I speak with Asian accent when not to foreigners and I have grammar problems). I am going with Z pronounced as Zed.

Misconception: British English = proper English, I would say. And how come you haven't disputed the fact that the English language of the Internet should be considered de facto following the American English? I believe that the fact that English [British] English is the one true faith English and thus should be the predominant language. So tyranny of the minority, eh?

There is no such thing as a "zee" Yeah, but you guys don't speak it as your first language, right? Well, You are still correct. As a Canadian, its Zed. But I'd note that zee still exists to 312 million people, its just incorrect. Actually, I just read about it. Jean-Luc Picard, apparently only 125 million Indians Speak english, which makes it second only to the USA.

There is still a large amount of Indian English speakers, of course, and it adds up. Just inaccurate in the details.

Jokes aside... In full seriousness... There's nothing wrong with an accent, and the Zee thing can be considered as a part of the American accent.

I don't actually have a problem with it when people say Zee, though I do sometimes face palm when someone who otherwise does not speak with an American accent and is born and raised in Australia use Zee. This was all just a joke in good fun. I have no problem with the American accent(s).

Zee FTW!
Shows the power of songs! Specifically the alphabet song rhyming "zee" with "me" and it was most likely adopted to follow the pronunciation of the letters “bee”, “cee”, “dee”, “eee”, “gee”, “pee”, “tee”, and “vee"
Children since the 1800's have usually been learning the alphabet song before elementary school where teacher would have to re-teach them the more technically correct "zed" version.
The song: “tee, u, vee, w, x, y and zee, Now I know my A-B-Cs, Next time won’t you sing with me”

I learnt American English, but I'm going with zed. American English always sounded so forced to me. Perhaps because it stopped evolving with the rest of the English dialects due to her seperations from Britain.

The title confused me so much! I thought this was a poll for Zombies! Either way, I believe it is pronounced Z!
