Hi all,
I am trying to play this game, but it seems very hard (compared to EW4).
Right now I am level 21, but I have not enough literature for next age.
I am not able to win conquest, not able to do campaign - first Attila scenario is impossible.
In empire, I am not able to win any battle or invasion. Enemy generals are so powerful, or I am not able to finish scenario in 20 turns.
How do you get literature and medals in this game? I spent all medals and don't know how to earn them - only from campaigns.
Thanks

Thanks. I read it and have a question about missions. This is the only way to get medals? I don't get the missions daily, only get them only once or twice so far. Is it necessary to have permanent internet connection for it? Because I have no mobile data and have access to free wifi only occasionally. For other problems, I just will have to be patient. Thanks

I am afraid it is impossible to play for long without Internet connection (twice a day)...

I get to wifi once or twice a month. That's pity. The game is quite nice. If only medals were available by fighting (like in EW4)...

You can also get medals from doing achievements, which you can see by tapping the trophy icon in the bottom left.

What are your generals?

I have Alexander, Robin Hood, Huo Qubing, Hannibal, Cleopatra, Leonidas, and Joan of Arc. Also bought Pachacuti. Alexander, Robin, Pachacuti, and Joan are two stars, the rest is one star (I haven't medals for upgrade). I have not many items, only several swords and shields, one lucky crown, and one flintlock. Curently I am 41% for Barbarossa, but don't have enough gifts for him any more Now have 47700 crowns and 95 medals.

You should be able to beat the current campaign missions

Everything else is indeed doable, but thats a pretty big road-block IMO, no daily missions. Can't he just get gifts for Barbarossa from conquest though? that part seems solvable with some effort.

You should be able to beat the current campaign missions No internet=no daily mission=hard to get medals. I'd suggest him to get some cheap and acceptable generals, for example Belisarius and Moctezuma.

You should be able to beat the current campaign missions Maybe, but I'm not. When I get to the second city (lower left corner), my army is near death and quickly killed. Also the enemy units are quite powerful and with high life. I upgraded Joan's healing skill, but she often dies before she could even use it :-(
