I thought about this while looking at the Caesar debate. Some people appear to think Hannibal is superior to Qubing, but I quite like Qubing. Unlike, Han, he has logistics, which, when paired with the right equipment, can make him suto Saladin. Qubing, alone, can take on entire continents in classical/medieval conquests when properly outfitted.
EDIT: therefore making Greek farming in classical much easier.

I used none. Belisarius and Yoshitsune are enough for me.

I prefer Hannibal since he can be usefull at least in empire age. His elephants do double damage to infantry and braveness can be handy sometimes. Pair him up with Attila's commander skill and he can be pretty awesome. I don't like Huo mainly because you must use medals to make him strong(skills + stars 1000+ medals), while Hannibal needs only 3 stars (~500 in total for him)

Yeah, Huo Qubing could be considered....Pseudo-Saladin, was that what you meant? But Hannibal is Pseudo-Atilla, or even Pseudo-Genghis. He has braveness, matching with those generals, while Huo matches with Saladin. Sorry, but since I got more use out of Hannibal I vote for him. Didn't really use Huo, not for long at least. (Hannibal made it to empire age, and was replaced by Atilla) Good Poll though. They are both free cavalry you get at about the same time, so despite not being long term generals they deserve a comparison.

Huo is baby Saladin, and Hannibal is baby Atilla. Atilla costs 2250 medals, but Saladin just wants treasures. I'd rahter use Baby Atilla, so I can wait with getting real Atilla until Nobunaga and Li Shimin are on my roster

Btw I would NOT recommend pend any medal on increasing their skills and that is why i prefer the intrinsic anti-infantery of Hannibal

Huo is better if you invest in him, he becomes a mini-Saladin and is good for conquest. If you don't want to spend medals, use hannibal

Tied. Wow.
Honestly, I think it comes from logistics. Hannibal might be better damage wise, but Qubing had the durability to back up any firepower you give him. I've tried both in the same conquests (with some variations, granted. Classical China, btw), and Hannibal tends to either die someone quickly due to his lack of regen or waits at a city for said regen. Either way, he doesn't last long. Qubing, on the other hand, can easily last the ENTIRE conquest.
Campaign, though, and other invasions-esque tasks are best handled by Hannibal, cause regeneration isn't AS important. So, at least from what I can tell, it's whether you want someone for conquest, or otherwise.

I never bothered to upgrade them or their skills but I'd always prefer to have the tanky Hannibal than Huo QuBing who I feel, doesn't have the necessary output
