Quintus Fabius , you are a fan of Souls game? and What are you considered to Souls game ? No, as I don't own them. But I assume you know their specs, and thus can testify that GOG, with or without grinding, is harder than Dark Souls. I can testify that the Grinding is harder than Dark souls grinding. I can also testify that every game made before 1990 is harder than Dark souls. I can also testify that several games in completely different genres are harder than Dark souls. |

GoG can't be the better series because it only has 3 games and one of them was horrible. WC also only has 3 games. European War has 5, all of them thought to be decent, and with EW4 everybody enjoyed it. All but ew5 which certainly sucks at conquests and top 3 real generals are paid... Top 3 should be paid, if anything is to be paid. WC3 just messed up and made overpriced, underpowered IAPs |

Quintus Fabius, if it bothers you that much then I don't know how you got through the other Easytech games. Not a single one is uber accurate. This just goes to show how hard it is to satisfy the populace. We all cry for diplomacy and how much it would help their games. They add diplomacy to an extent, now we berate them for their graphics and what they've changed about the game. |

Though Pong has no end point, just passing a....ball back and forth. Later rip-offs were called basketball, soccer, etc Dark souls is also potentially endless, but it changes over the course of the game and has a defined ending, that you can continue after. Not very many commonalities. Anyway, the standard of difficulty was higher back then, I guarantee you. Many games would easily give Dark souls a run for its money. |

Even dungeons that weren't randomly generated in those days were horrible. I guess one thing Dark souls is good at is making every enemy deadly...but this is partially fixable, is common to many old games. Heck, I guess most of its features were done in those days. Not likely in one game though. |
