NOW thats what I'm thinking of! Same section of the decade too. Even dungeons that weren't randomly generated in those days were horrible. I guess one thing Dark souls is good at is making every enemy deadly...but this is partially fixable, is common to many old games. Heck, I guess most of its features were done in those days. Not likely in one game though. If you have a urge to play Dark Souls-like games on iOS and/or Android, I heard that Wayward Souls was great (apparently more rogue-like than DS though). Yes, there are still games like DS being made in the '10s. |

I'm not paying for WC3 though, on android already finished alien conquest and cold war everything. I paid for EW5, can wait for forum discussion before doing the same for WC4. Hopefully it becomes free on iOS, but I doubt that will happen. Some games are free....but who knows how long that has been the case. |

I'd say EW3 is the biggest waste of money, but I imagine some of the older WC also fit that. Never played EW 1-2. Guess all the old games fit this criteria. WC3 allows nearly every general for "free" while EW4 requires payment for many. EW4 has the best usage of money however-extra slots. WC3 IAP generals are underwhelming despite their high cost (all 3 the same cost), while EW5 IAP generals are more valuable but cost wildly different amounts. |

I loved wc2 and ew3 lol, fun stuff for me, love the way ew4 worked tho not the generals(how you have to pay monies for ALL top generals)
