Hi, do you know if the type of missions (infantry/archery/cavalry/artillery/female) is created at random?
Currently I am in need of diamonds (for Saladin). However, the game keeps giving me two infantry, two archery, and one artillery mission in my daily batches.
I remember getting cavarly and female mission (with diamonds reward), but only once so far.
Could it depend on my level, or on the number of cities conquered. I'm in level 34, imperial age, and have 30 cities so far.
(I am unable to win any battles/attacks now, so I'm saving medals for upgrade my generals - mostly level 1 or 2 just now.)

I'm sorry if I misunderstand your question. For complete detail, there is thread about "Overview data cities: Princess, Generals and Items". Anyway, you can obtain general from several city mission in empire mode by giving bribe. Some general only appear after you reach certain level. To get diamond, you can get that by doing some daily mission or conquest. I hope this will help you

Yes, I know I can obtain treasures from missions, frankly, it is the only thing I can do now. My generals are too weak and I'm not able to do battles/attack/invasion/conquests. I just don't get missions with diamond rewards.

Indeed Diamond is quite rare on daily mission. So, how many medals do you have? I suggest you to buy great general first (atilla, caesar, or nobunaga) rather than upgrading your current general. General such as huo qubing, hannibal , jean d'arc are not worthy to upgrade

medals, heh :-) I just bought Li Shimin, and currently have only 25.
I want to try Saladin, Huo, Hannibal, and Ashoka group, once I get all of them to 3 stars, and upgrade Ashoka's Commander skill.
I know that this is certainly not final generals, but I have to proceed with campaigns (currently still in medieval age, second Barbarossa's campaign).

Eh, what? That's quite really challenging general composition. I know you want try to have cavalry based play style, but upgrading huo and hannibal until three star, I think that's really waste on medal. Some people say Asoka is good for cavalry army, but I think he's too weak both in atk and HP. Li Shimin is very good, though. But I think Cleopatra can become his substitute. But well its up to you, however I think you'll certainly have great difficulty in future since there will be a lot enemy archer general on later age

Don't know for sure, but thought that cavalry has nice bonus of multiple attack, also Hannibal on level 3 has +100% bonus against infantry.
More specifically, I plan to upgrade Huo's and Saladin's Logistic skill, Hannibal's Braveness, and Asoka's Commander.
As archers, I have only Robin Hood and Montezuma (with lvl 6 healing skill). I plan to buy Nobunaga, but this is far far future. I cannot use IAP, so my only way for medals are missions and campaigns. And I have to upgrade my current team just to be able to proceed in campaigns.
Maybe another problem are items, for I don't have any, except for the few I got as rewards in campaign. Simply no medals for them.
And I have a question about armor skill. I see Jebe and Yi Sun Shin have it. Is it cumulative if both of them trigger it? I suppose it could be some -40% on max level, so when both of them trigger, will there be -80% shield?

Jebe has 30% (or 35? definetely not more) deff buff and Yi Sun-Sin - 50%, if upgraded to max level.

Yes, calvary is really nice. They can moping up many enemies in one turn. Their biggest problem is their hp especially against archer. I use saladin and genghis kan for my main general. They need to avoid archer general a lot to survive. They are really great to clear the infantry, though. About armor skill, yes They can stack with each other however I dont think 40% + 40% = 80%. If you have three general with armor skill, The They should be invicible, arent they?

That is a challenging group, but certainly a great one. Get Attila if possible, choose 1 between Saladin, Blucher and Huo Qubing(Blucher>Saladin>Huo Qubing), Edward is also a great one to consider.

Thanks for advice, but this is all far far future. Currently I have 75 medals, and have only 50 medals daily from missions. Attila is 2250, which means 45 days saving and waiting. (Yes, waiting, not playing - this is the most frustrating thing in this game.) The problem is that I am not able to proceed even in campaigns (still in second Barbarossa scenario. Henry the Lion always destroys my town before I kill him) So I will have to upgrade my current generals first... And don't tell me about items... I'm afraid that the game AI get experience and better items far quicker than I do. For example, Barbarossa campaign, scenario 2: enemy army of Teutonic Knights, and Henry himself level 25, knight, with Warrior Sword, Dark Boots, Iron Armor, and Gold Crown (which together are worth some 2000 medals)... Edit, about Blücher, I suppose he is in discovery age?

TK421, Since he is a blue general, cheap to upgrade, has the cavalry commander skill that can scale to 50% bonus damage (same as Attila, but cheaper since he is blue tier) and he has the leadership skill which is useful in any circumstance, thus making him a vital part of cavalry lineups.

Just Commander, that's it. Edward is too weak to utilize his Leadership.
