Synopsis of the events in the story, of the story as a whole, of the character development, or of the writing style? The more, the merrier!  up to you, really. Personally, I would like a preview before buying it... like 2 or 3 chapters (or if your chapters are very long or short, let say 50 to 75 pages? Or maybe 30 to 45 pages?) I don't think preview is gonna happen... A synopsis will be enough. |

Synopsis (as requested by Frederick the Great): The trilogy as a whole focuses on the change of three characters through a military/political struggle: -John as he finds leadership -Malcolm as he learns to beat by his own drum -Alex as he discovers to care for others rather than just himself. Each novel focuses on sort of a different one for each of them. In the first novel, it mainly focuses on John's change. At the beginning, the Skyhunters (led by Malcolm) bomb the Kojo. This leaves only but two buildings left. 16 years later, one of those buildings is destroyed, and John, Jean, Mr. James, and Claire journey to find a new home for the remainder of the populace. Through the novel, the main characters discover there is a greater evil behind the whole journey, and they discover interesting objects that seem to change the world. But the group aren't the only ones who are eager to inhabit cities. At the same time that the novel is happening, you see General Shalek's quest for military power with the help of a devilish woman. Overall: The main things the novel encompasses are military strength as opposed to political strength. |
