Your resources must have been low as 44 turns is enough for 600 years ruled. 49 not 44. I believe this can make huge difference and resources were all >5000 and only metal(or whatever it is called like) was low compared to food and gold Yes I know he said 49. The point I'm making is that since dropping 14 turns only increased by 50, dropping another 5 won't do anything. Therefore, the problem must be resources/campaign progress.

It's probably campaign progress it all materials were >5000. It's normal for iron to be lower than the others materials. 9999 resources would be ideal. Metal can be low, around 2500-3500.

I tried with France 1798 but it took too long to complete and forgot to save -_- . I ruled for 400 years in Europe only and i completed in 50 or something turns
