Don't know why but isn't Hungary in Hetalia supposed to be an ally of Germany? She hates Germany and Prussia SO MUCH. And Austria is never Anschlussed.. SMH Irl hungarians do not like Germans. It was strictly a military alliance. Much the same, austrians absolutely hate the Germans. They even outright deny have German heritage. |

SMH Just like how texas, england, wales, scotland, hessen, bavaria, etc behave like independants in polanball? I have never seen Hessen being independent. |

Though nowadays Bavaria is growing more and more culturally distinct. There is, in fact, a very strong seperatist movement in Bavaria. Unfortunately, a large amount of hatred to the North. The Bavarian word for Germany translated to English is Prussia. They feel like we aren't the real Germans. But thats as far as I can go without touching politics on open forum grounds. I don't know... if it's not my wife who cooks the potatoes, I tend to be wary. Too many people are terrible at cooking them.
