 The short answer as it relates to our forum,I guess I would: •Take an inventory on eveyone stuff. •know everyone posible skills and how they can benefit the entire group •Break down into smaller specialized groups (shelter,fire,food,scouts..) •Once the basic immediate survival and safety needs are met then focus on the longer term of getting out of there in one piece. In reality getting out depends a lot on the local conditions like: -Weather and time of day, terrain and location in the world: freezing or wet and cold? Or temperate and mild.This will set what the priorities are, like making a shelter, building a fire.Early day or night with no visibility? Traveling in the dark with low visibility is highly inadvisable. -Group or solo: you can spread the tasks and be more agressive in a group setting, solo can have more risks. -How much food and water is at hand has an effect on how you make your plans. -Dangerous Wildlife ..enough said  -Navigational items, weapons, vehicles, cellphones: maps and a compass can make the entire task of getting out of the wilderness safer, quicker and easier. You got a working cell/satellite phone that is fully charged and got reception? Then why are we waisting time gathering firewood,building shelter and shooting Grizzly bears??! Make that emergency call ! That picture has mountains that look very similar to the ones near my own... You aren't throwing me into a forest by myself, are you? They look the black forest in the south o.o |

I think I am getting addicted to drawing Polandball comics in an app on my phone. Maybe if I have a solar-powered phone charger with me. I would sit down in the middle of the campsite and while you guys do wilderness survival things, I will draw a 378 page comic book plus a bonus sequel 4 chapters long.

I think I am getting addicted to drawing Polandball comics in an app on my phone. Maybe if I have a solar-powered phone charger with me. I would sit down in the middle of the campsite and while you guys do wilderness survival things, I will draw a 378 page comic book plus a bonus sequel 4 chapters long. ....Or call the emergency line |

I would most likely alternate between writing literature on the struggles of survival in a forest, cooperating with the rest of the forum on setting up camp, digging a bunch of tunnels stretching out from the camp to other places in the forest, and shooting down any enemies to the group with my M1911 pistol (random reference to Letters from Iwo Jima).
Doing my real life self...
I would probably gather some food and drop it all in a pile for people to eat...

I would dance on a rock for no apparent reason. If I get bored, I'd probably fight the rock. After all, if we were lost in the forest, I would lose my sanity. But if I don't lose my sanity, I'd help out as much as I can....if I die, I die. Nothing more, nothing less.
This reminds me of the time when my friend made this sort of "choose your own adventure" sort of story. For 80% of the time, I made my own choice, which was obviously dancing on a rock....man, so many memories (both good and bad...) brought back because of this forum.....
