You earned that LOL button. Jean-Luc Picard , can I exchange the Strongest general on that list, Wallace, with Belisarius? Because reasons. Edit: lol, I'm not deleting my save to do this challenge anyway. Maybe someday. There are 2 generals from each type on that list, except Artillery (only one because others overpowered) and Archery (hua mulan) Should have option of two archers. Pachacuti? He pretty weak. Lol, Mulan gets a good skill at level 6, wonder what Pachacuti gets. Maybe same as Moctezuma.

Oh right, Wallace is part of my heritage. He has to stay. His True worth will be shown!
Replace another B general, Beowulf with Belisarius? Losing the Stronk Fort ability for my team? Replace the strongest Cavalry general, Henry, with Belisarius? Infantry heavy much.
Conrad be cool, and of course I would never replace Leonidas with anyone.

Amendment: you can switch one of these generals with any general of your choice. One, and only one

So I assume the general switch must be a general of similar greatness we don't need those bad gold and purple generals, leonidas would be disappointed in us

Quintus Fabius's addendum: for extra Thermopylae Spartanhood, upgrade only Leonidas, and give items only to him. For the Gold Star of Thermopylae, make Leonidas a 6 star unit, and archer-proof as much as possible. Then use him on Greek Classical Conquest.

What about the team of gray generals with only one or two blue generals in it? It is still sounds unrealistic, but someone could really try it (and not only laugh at it).

And the competition is not between AI and humans. But more between humans: how far could go each of the competitors... And of course Leonidas is literally "must have" in the team...

I wonder if someone will ACTUALLY do this... leonidas should be the all-star of the team, tbh I don't know why I don't use leonidas my problems would be over instead of using these really expensive generals

Leonidas has braveness...great skill.
I would try this, but I'm not losing my save for it.
Chinese have beaten EW4 without generals. Obviously impossible here, but what about using only Grey generals? If you save more medals could use it to equip them with each Item set.
....though if it becomes impossible to complete the defence missions such a playthrough might make it impossible to have the full sets. Huh.
And of course Leonidas is necessary. The challenge is named after him after all.

Beaten EW4 without generals.....how..... You'd have to ask the Particular Chinese person, or ask the person who mentioned it on forum. Whoever they were. I do remember that the record for completing this one conquest in EW4 with only privateers and Militia is...20 turns? 30 Turns? Pretty amazing If my memory is actually correct. Considering that you only need around 30 turns to get the top princesses, let alone 20.
