Quintus Fabius's addendum: for extra Thermopylae Spartanhood, upgrade only Leonidas, and give items only to him. For the Gold Star of Thermopylae, make Leonidas a 6 star unit, and archer-proof as much as possible. Then use him on Greek Classical Conquest. Everyone here makes it sound like anybody will come close to getting to Gunpowder/Industrial. Its taken me months to get Gunpowder, I'd never carry Leo that far. |

You'd have to ask the Particular Chinese person, or ask the person who mentioned it on forum. Whoever they were. I do remember that the record for completing this one conquest in EW4 with only privateers and Militia is...20 turns? 30 Turns? Pretty amazing If my memory is actually correct. Considering that you only need around 30 turns to get the top princesses, let alone 20. (Faints.) |

If the play-through proves impossible or mind-boggingly annoying, many would quit. Leonidas is annoying enough when you ditch him as soon as possible. However some thrive on these horrifyingly crazy bets. It might be done, provided that it is objectively possible. Speaking of Archer proof Quintus Fabius... Belisarius is an Infantry, so he is never on the Byzantine archer unit Cheirosiphon. Sad. Is basically flamethrower, its special ability is adding fire damage. (fire-Siege makes it look useless) I think it would be cool if at level 6 he got at the least Longbow ability and the fire ability. Is only a blue infantry, but I envision him as a Tanky Archer. |

Are we suppose to start a new game for this? Its true it could be simulated with your old save, but I feel like the intention of such a challenge is to actually make it through the game with these generals. That would mean earning all your medals with these generals, winning all your conquests and campaigns with them. The Chinese guy who completed EW4 without Gens could not do the final missions 3 star from what I heard. Thus, it might be acceptable to finish industrial at 1 star only  |
