Imperial RomeBall, point taken. Actually, points taken, as in you have multiple good points.
I should partition my response carefully...
To be clear
Ergonomics vs economics. Quite different.
I specifically said economics in a separate section from ergonomics. That was intended.
As for discussion on ergonomics and aesthetics, I hadn't felt the need to go in-depth about it. So yes, there was a lack of direct arguement or dialetics in my post on just that specific part.
You made a plenty of good points, and there is truth to what you said. I will admit to agree with you overall.
On this forum, Apple cultists aren't numerous in here for a good reason. This isn't a gaming forum for Angry Birds or Flappy. Fans of Easytech games apparently are an odd bunch as in we all generally do have some in-depth understanding of historical subjects and strategic planning in wargames from what I see in here.
Look at the facepalm thread, some of those things would take a certain level of estroic knowledge about wars in world history. The average person outside the forum wouldn't know at least half of those things that you and I could do a facepalm about.
It's no surprise that people who likes deep strategy tends to run with android devices more often than Apple devices as a rule of thumb. We do seem to value independent thinking quite so and the ability to think for himself too, so I can definitely see the appeal in using android devices over Apple devices.
Similarly, Chess is a good example of where Sci-Math-Tech majors would typically have a strong winning record against the liberal arts majors. Easytech games and Chess is not the same, I know. But the comparison do work.
If you wanted an example where a forum has a greater ratio of Apple buyers, I would say a forum for photographers and photoshopping. A lot of those people likes to use MacBooks for ease of using Photoshop. Or even... the Apple.com forum. You can be sure that there WILL be Apple cultists breathing down on every single thread in there. *shudders*
Okay that's a silly example, but you know what I mean, this forum is not a normal composition of the people all over the Internet.
People who likes: history, wargames, and strategies. That's the EFC in a nutshell. I would say. So this would probably lend to an android-friendly environment.
