Look at my getting started in modding thread to know how to access the files.
WC3/assets/json/conquersettings.ini
Change conquest years to 1939
That unlocks all years

Control aliens I think go the the hex ID to change alliance to a playable one

Control your allies is super easy.
Example stage 1001 is Axis level 1
Counties
00 Player Germany
01 Ai control Germany
02 Poland
You wanna go like half way in the hex and it should start by FF and numbers.
What I do I type in hex editor
01010101 and I replace it with 00. That will make the Germany AI. Then do 010101 and make it 0000. Then do 0101 replace with 0000. Then you find the leftover of 01 and you make it into 00.
