What are the little red circles gained from killing or damaging enemies? when you build the satellite wonder, there is a secondary launch, whats that do. Also whats the most ideal way to get medals?

1) The red circle things pop up when you damage enemies are bonus resource awarded to you. These are resources used in HQ (industry, energy, or technology), not ones used in battle (gold, steel, or oil). 2) If you build the wonders and upgrade the space shuttle thing in HQ, the game will show you a cut-scene of launching it into space and from then on you can harvest technology from the wonder. The amount of technology you get from the wonder is ridiculously pathetic so you can ignore that. In conclusion, these things are a big waste of resources. 3) Unfortunately, there is no effective way to farm medal. The medals you can get from campaigns and conquests are limited. Pyramid, Cuzco, and Terracotta are the 3 wonders that give you 1/2/3 medals every 80 game days. Though you can harvest medals from them indefinitely, the rate is way too slow to be useful (given you have all the 3 medals wonders, you need to wait around 45,000 game days in order to save enough medals to buy Guderian). Normally, I receive medals from wonders and completing random mission (orange one with crossed sabers).

The space shuttle type wonders dont make any sense to me either the cost is like..astronomical <pun intended> I dont think there is a hidden advantage or something that we dont know about.I guess the bragging rights for achievements..meh.

I think these wonders are outrageously high for a reason and that is to add yet another goal or milestone for players to reach, specially for players who have already build everything else.

The achievements look cool. But the resources they cost is crazy.
