I have received a question about my absence on this board. Most senior membes know that when I am tagged or when I reveive a PM I get notified in my personal mail. As soon as I see it I will reply to the person requiring my assistance. Furthermore I am trying to get more spare time to do games on board on a regular base but unfortunenately daily life always keeps me busy.

Good question. It has been postponed. People can decide to make a TW at the moment. At the moment that most RPG games have finished and there are enough people who want to participate in a TW I will set mine up. For now, there are not enough people who would like to participate in a TW I think. |

Seems like Alt Hist is the newest trend. You make a perfectly good moderator António Salazar. Tbh I don't think this board requires a moderator that much because of the GMs in the threads and the globals. Therefore, it's perfectly fine for António Salazar to be on infrequent if that's what he needs. |

I think you've been doing a fine job, António Salazar, probably the best RL lets you. Ideally, the RP team should check in multiple times a day, to catch the salt brewing before it spills. If you can't, that's fine. You have GMods, RP execs, GMs, and the RP Enthusiast group leaders to help summon you. More help is always needed here, but we're not breaking apart, as far as I can tell. You could benefit from having a partner on this board, but that's a rabbit hole we shouldn't go down over here. |

Of all the boards the RP Board needs the most attention because of its tendency to have salt and arguments. While it is true that Salazar comes online when the GM calls for a lock, salt starts to form hours or even days before the fateful tag or PM. By the time the GM realizes what happened, the situation may have already spiraled out of control. Moderators need to check in several times a day to make sure everything is going smoothly. Picard used to do that, but the Global Mods have rarely checked in here since his resignation. and the GMs often struggle to maintain control without Staff help. I have nothing at all against António Salazar and I'm sure he does the best that Real Life permits him to but if you are having trouble maintaining an active presence on the board, that is all good and understandable, there is no shame in you retiring if you need to. |
