I find grinding for medals in WC3 easier than grinding for literature in EW5 Once you get the medal wonders you just need to leave the game open and can do something else than come back to collect medals

Literature Grind is less annoying than WC3 Medal Grind, but just as DULL!

Players do have to farm literature fast though. Those daily missions give out a lot of Exp which is bad when you have to farm countless hours to upgrade ages. Otherwise the invasions get very hard fast. I gave up and now I find myself in level 70 on Discovery. At least in WC3, while farming medals, farming materials is a good side objective that'll come in handy. Here, the missions don't help, campaigns may get ridiculous and cost is too high even for the WC3 pain of farming Industry early on.
