It has been said that the best marriage is like heaven on earth, and the worst marriage is like hell on earth. This is a case where "Your mileage may vary" applies. For myself, it is one of the most important thing in my life. And I have no desire to leave my wife for anyone else (I mean that seriously, not a love cliche to say that in front of people). But then... it's all about what you put in will decide what you get out of it. (It: including the courtship or the search for a spouse, not just marriage itself). |
