Try modifying your generals, campaigns, etc... a little bit differently. From what was stated earlier, it does sound more like a hack. I'll give you some hints
-modify your generals, but don't OP them or make them free.
-don't unlock every campaign, it may be overwhelming to the average user to see all the missions come up with no place to start.
-Mod your files containing generals, cities, troops, etc... Don't play with the files too liberally (freely) unless you know what you're doing or you may cause imbalance or crashing.
-Don't make anything too high because of the reason above.
