Thanks, but I'm afraid recovering my files right now is rather impossible Well, Im sorry for your loss. These are one of my greatest fears in modding. Which is kinda the reason why that every night, I make a back up apk of my work. I didn't have a backup because I was planning to make one last afternoon. The phone stopped working in the morning...

Anyways, @communist , do you know how to change the ranks of existing generals? Also, how do you change the city's HP? What about changing the amount of resources we get at the beginning of a conquest, campaign, etc? And finally, what do you use to sign apks? that is hard to explain the starting money i do it tomorrow since im tired from work. City level should be in json. Check building settings that is hard to explain the starting money i do it tomorrow since im tired from work. City level should be in json. Check building settings Thanks in advance. But what about the changing ranks? Do you have any idea on it?

Actually, the difficult part is the one about the resources Yeah, about that, I decided the best thing to do was to reduce the usage of gasoline. Now everything should be going well. But thank you! Can you, however, give me the instructions on how to change a general's rank (ex: make Konev's rank a Marshal)?

Go to the general block in the conquest.btl and change the number next to the general's ID you wish to mod, into the (hex) number of the rank you wish to give him.

When we do the hex editing, does it apply to that conquest only or does it change the general's stats for all? (Just to clarify, what I want is, when we purchase the general with medals, it will be at the rank we wanted it to be. So for example: Konev would be at the rank of Marshal when he is bought. In the original wc3, he was major general, not Marshal.)

So that's why it originally didn't work (I think). The first time when I modified it, I checked the general's rank at one of the conquests, which remained the same. I thought it had to do something with hex editing, but no actually. Well, apparently, thanks to you, I found out that you could have a general with different ranks in different conquests, which opens up quite a lot of possibilities. Thank you so much! BTW, how do you edit the rewards you get for completing the tutorial? Also, when pasting the generals in the smallheads file, how do you get the coordinates (and the refx/refy and other stuff)?

Aleksandr Vasilevsky, the rewards if the tutorials are at the end of challengesettings.json. As for the smallheads, I don't know.

Another question: How do you change the amount of oil you start with for the tutorial? @communist , do you know how to get all the info (coordinates, refx, refy, etc) when we place the general in the smallheads file?
