I think capturing any british ships will prove too risky as the other british ships will fire on us or board us while we fight. If we are going to escape I say we blast our way out of the port, just crippling or destroying any british ship we come across. Didn't we already capture some ships from the last battle? My plan is to take those ships and get out The Sirius and Magicienne were captured last battle Antonio Santa Anna seems to already have the Sirius and I think your crew can sail the Magicienne.

All right. The Minerve can lead the column out, the Astree will lead the rear, and the Astell will catch up as you are all clear

We are escaping leaving Ile de France to its fate The Minerve is leading the ships out of Ile de France and clear the route Rolling to wnwmy ship encounter. Over 18 we encounter no ships on the way out Vus76Nl8 result. We encounter a british frigate on the way out. I aim for the enemies guns. 7 to destroy most

Or maybe one slipps past the valiant Astell.
The roll of 18 to get out without enemy attack might be considered pretty high, but IMO its up to Best. Though the sacrifice of the Astell might mean much to her captain. (its not dead yet of course, but is tempting fate)

They're shaken enough not to follow, as we return to a position nearer the harbor and accompany the Magicienne on her way out

OOC question:
I'm confused... Ile de France means Isle of France, indeed, but usually refer to the city Paris which is miles and miles away from either the Atlantic Ocean or the English Channel. So how are you guys having a sea battle in Paris?!

So how are you guys having a sea battle in Paris?! OOC: Isle of France was the name of Mauritius when under French control. It reverted to the older Dutch name when the British captured it. I'm pretty sure there was a Port named Napoleon at some point BUT I can't find it anymore sooo. The French during the time DID change the name of the entire Island of Reunion from Bourbon to Bonaparte, No doubt a revolutionary thing.
