The Crusader states were always supported by the ones who founded them, no? The Muslims called them Franks. If the states are attacked, it would make sense for the English, French, even Germans among others to personally deal with it. In other words, they can declare war and handle the operations instead of being told "well some of your troops are being used for an NPC, sucks to be you" Maybe even Byz get in on the action eh? (nah, even though those regions are rightful East Roman clay) I'm just suggesting it. Btw, the idea of being somehow involved with a war far away even though your king didn't went there is a bit... out of place with this era. The knights being recruited for the Crusades should be automatic, but personal involvement will allow you to use those troops instead of being entirely in NPC hands. Naturally... this would cause some players to become anxious enough to participate for the sake of their troops, but at the risk of leaving behind their home countries being wrecked like what Prince John did to England while Richard I was out on a crusade. Surely, this is an interesting dilemma, no? Edit: Trust me, I know what I am doing. I like to make things interesting for players. Right, Frederick the Great?

Sure, we could use a player for Venice, but there are a couple less important states lying around.

Antonio Santa Anna, do you mind posting an updated list on this page? Don't forget that England (Me) & Byzantine ( Imperial RomeBall) isn't allowed to have a 2nd country because we're way too big.
