How about some other greetings/phrases needed to survive touring in mordern countries that speak German? Depends on where you're at. Hessen: Guuuude is hello, Gross Gott is farewell, Northern Germany: Hallo is hello, Tschuss is goodbye. Austria I have no idea. |
