I've been wondering if 2 days to make our turns is long enough lol. Guess I need to be more responsible, and perhaps there are benefits- longer waits could hurt the politician nature of this?
Guess I'm neutral. Perhaps 60% in favour of a pause?
Edit: and I turn the page. Just great. I'll let my foolish words stand on their merit then.

Took me a moment to sort out everything, but please note for yourselves that when determining clashing orders' final result, it's always easier to properly sort out which support is cut or not, then figure out the reminder orders. If you see your support order striken through, it is cut. If it's not strikken, but the move itself fails, then it's the support remaining uncut, but ends up in a bounce in an even match anyway. To all: The 1941 fall retreat phase will be processed on the 18th of June. We are entering a pause. Now, I do not possess the power to prevent private discussions, so I won't be absurd as to try to discourage players from making conversation or negotiating with each other. Go ahead and talk during the holiday.

Well, you guys were in favor of a pause. I went along with it since you have decided and I did make an offer. But yeah, there's a holiday now for this game. And the map... if The Spanish Inquisition can't get to it, I can do one tonight/tomorrow some time. Besides, it is more of 5 days rather than a full week. Don't worry though... you won't have to wait five days for a map update.

Again, you guys are free to contact each other. In fact, for the likelihood of doing well, I recommend trying to maintain good ties with each players (even if you're at war with each other at the moment because you might end up being allies with him in the next year, who knows?).

To my surprise, just 1: Fleet California. Even though there's three major battlefronts all around the world, only one dislodging had happened in this season. F CAL may retreat to PAN or ORE
Here's the map for the aftermath of the movement but not yet showing the retreat: Fall 1941 (not including the dislodged F CAL)

Okay since the Fall 1941 retreat was extremely straightforward and short, I guess I will leave this game on pause at the mark where the Winter 1941 is at.
The List of Builds available for each power: China ( Laurent de Gouvion) Gains Magadan 1 build Germany ( Yi Sun Sin) Lost Berlin 1 disband Italy ( best75) No change Japan ( The Spanish Inquisition) Gains Yap Is. 1 build UK ( Imperial RomeBall) Nabbed a gyro in Athens Gets 1 big fat Greek wedding to perform (aka building a new unit lol) USA ( Polenbal) Lost Yap Is. 1 disband USSR ( Quintus Fabius) Gains Sweden and Berlin Lost Magadan 1 build

I actually knew about your gain of Greece and it's even marked on the map, but somehow my fingers didn't transmit that to the typing itself. *fix* Enjoy your big fat Greek wedding!

I'm actually still on the way back to Florida. I gave up on my buns of iron (which is hardening nearly to the point of losing the ability to feel anything, ow...), and booked a hotel room for an overnight stay in Nashville. It's quite nice. I still have about 6 hours left to go before I get to home at last.
Well, let's get cracking! Winter 1941China ( Laurent de Gouvion) Build A Peking Germany ( Yi Sun Sin) DISBAND A PAR Italy ( best75) No Change Japan ( The Spanish Inquisition) F Sendai UK ( Imperial RomeBall) Build F EGY USA ( Polenbal) Disband at PAN USSR ( Quintus Fabius) B A STA
I plan to stop by a subway for a quick lunch, but I have to hurry back to return the rental car. So I won't be able to post a map update for quite some time. The Spanish Inquisition, how about you, no? Map or no map, the Spring 1942 deadline is set at June 20th, noon CST. Thank you all for staying with us, more to come after these messages. *fade to black, then commercials pops onto the screen*
