Ireland, Spain, Italy, France, Austria, Hungary, Portugal, Poland, Brazil, Mexico, Peru, Bolivia, Paraguay, and virtually every other central and south american country (except for Suriname and Guyana, plus that WIERD little part of brazilian rainforest). So, a lot of countries are catholic.

I agree with the last one, but have a large problem with the first too, are telling me that in forum based on a war game, we cant have names of war leaders? Ex tojo rommel macarthur and patton. Also, who decides who is terrible amd who is not, while russia ball may think of stalin as a hero for keeping the union kn place, you may not. While some may think the leader of the vietmenese ( vietnam war) as a defender of the rights of the people, you may not.

Bringing up the historical names in the forum in the context of normal conversations that may relate to war gaming is really not that big of a deal, but no propaganda or obvious glorification or needlessly trying to be hurtfull to others. This is just common sense guys just like freedom of speech doest NOT extend to yelling "Fire!" in a crowded theater (if there isnt one).Nothing in this world is absolute. we are a small gaming community and dont need to offend and loose the few members that we have.So feel free to chat with whatever, but if someone is obsessed with a particular country/religion/doctrine/dogma/leader and similar there maybe temporary moderation/censoring as a reminder to be civil. Phew! ok I almost fell asleep writting this.

There is no limit to "Freedom of Speech" in your country. I've read your laws thing and it doesn't limit your speech.

In our history, there have been trials up to the Supreme Court, which limited free speech. The best example is Schenk V. United States. Took place during WWI, America had just entered the war. Schenk was a socialist, and was anti war. Instead of criticizing the war, he yelled out "Burn your draft cards!" in public. Authorities arrested him and he took the gov. To trial. The government stated that there cannot be freedom of speech that could harm another individual, I.e. no shouting fire in a packed movie theatre. Keep in mind, the Chief Justice was extremely pro free rights and was not bias toward communists or socialists.

Saltins rules are the definitive way to go. As long as it doesn't offend another, isn't propaganda or obvious glorification, or if you aren't obsessing over some doctrine, leader, country, religion, dogma, etc. Listen to Saltin.
