Hi So I currently have 2250 medals. I'm doing missions and farming medals, and I'm planning to get a new general. Currently I have Guderian, Konev, Badoglio, Ozawa, Auchinleck I'm planning to sell Auchinleck but I'm not sure which general to get afterwards Reading the forums, a lot of you guys seem to like Govorov, but I think Konev is a suitable replacement? Otherwise, I'm struggling to decide which general I should choose between. The current generals have in mind to get are Patton, Arnold, Goring, Rommel and Govorov. Some advice? P.s. i've read some guides and Patton seems to be high up on the list. However, comparing the stats Rommel seems to deal more damage then Patton. Why is Patton a better pick then? And how should i use him? Thanks  |

Arnold and Goring are not worth to buy for sure, it's much more reasonable to start building EC with air stars. Govorov is better that Konev, but assuming you already have him, better keep for now while you can use him in infantry. If you're farming medals and have 3 medal wonders, than the best solution now is to buy Vatutin and start to build EC. Patton's advantage is explosives skill, but he lacks tide of iron and plain fighting which makes him not so good. I prefer the following crew: Govorov, Guderian, Vatutin and 3 ECs.

Thanks! Why would you keep auchinelck tho? Imo he's quite weaker currently (i'm beginning the aliens campaignnn) Also how would you use patton (or rommel)? |

The only thing Goring can do is bombing and he has much hp. but he's total crap in everything else. For 210 medals you can make 3 air stars for your EC, which is good enough, or if you can't live without 5 air stars, that costs 1440 medals and your air gen don't use slot (he is art or tank gen too). I even started a thread about that, but none said I'm not right: european-war-4.boards.net/thread/4773/air-gensRegarding Vatutin - you can upgrade him to marshal, so he'll have the same hp as Patton (which you will do sooner or later if you're farming medals) and he will be able to make good damage even with low hp because of tide of iron, but Patton's damage will fall after losing half of hp. |

Get govorov, bai or Konev. My personnal recommendation is Govorov though.
