If you don't have the empires mod, get it! 1. Destroyers: Destroyers now have a max range of 5, but do less to ships. Even so, once upgraded they can take out large groups of ships and troops. They are also relatively inexpensive. 2. Field Artillery: since they have 1 more range, they can't be retaliated against most things. With generals like DeGualle or Zhukov, you should be fine. 3. Subs: Subs do exponentialy more damage but have less mobility, making them effective on the pacific front. Max subs launch missiles, which are immune to air defence, making them invaluable like Donitz for Germany. 4: Generals Empires 1.0 Top 6: DeGualle, Zhukov, Eisenhower, Manstein, Patton, Yamamoto/Donitz Empires 1.5.6 (Coming Soon) Top 6: Thrawn, Veers, Zhukov, DeGualle, Donitz, Piett/Donitz Most of these generals have good air force abilties and mobility which make them invaluable.
