He is, but the rules still say he will be elected from among the Catholic nations. My nation is technically catholic. Do I have to select a pope as well? Then yes, you do need to cast a vote for the next Pope.

This is the fascinating tale of the Templars, probably the most
Powerful and mysterious organisations of the Middle Ages
The Order of the Poor Knights of Christ and the Temple of Solomon
Originate from a group of nine aristocrats, whose sole aim was
The protection of the Holy Land from the Saracens
So, let us undertake a journey into the past, back to the origin
Rise and fall of the Order of the Templars
A journey, which will lead us to the legendary world
Of the Knights of the Cross

Quintus Fabius, you are stronk in the baltic with 3 ships (really gonna stop the Swedes?) but I'm strong in the eastern Mediterranean with 150 Anyway lyrics from another song which doesn't seem to support either side. The Islam conquered Byzanz Slaughter Christians everywhere
8/10 would cry again. -1 point because only a large portion of Byzanz was lost.

Antonio Santa Anna, the Almohad Caliphate stated that he had 145,000 troops in Africa. I'm trying to annex Tripolitania and Tunisia (offering protection, really). With the Almohad realm supposedly in chaos, how many men do you all think they can raise to meet an invading realm to battle? I'm thinking on a quarter of his African troops (approx. 35,000) meeting the Libyan contingent of 10,000. Is that alright?

I know Medieval armies were much much smaller back in those days.
