Not really fair that every year IRL I'd be fighting the Seljuks of Rome, but because of a no crusading rule (That protects ME from crusade) I can't attack the Rum.
Meanwhile Ayybid gets to do the amazing and work towards taking all of that Greek territory.

Find a way to make use of your claims so that the GM will allow you take on Rum. Look at Portugal going on a mini-Crusade a bit early in Iberia. |

They stole my land, steal my land, its my land. And for the last several decades I've been taking that land back. If Portugal is doing something so should I. We will see.... |

He isn't even a CARDINAL yet. He won't be for 7 years. 22 year old piece of trash.
Edit: perhaps Innocent wasn't "trash" but still.
Byzanz must prepare for what is quickly becoming the silliest crusade. (not the Egypt ones, thats cool)

Just happens to took the name Innocent and he is the third Innocent in the lineage for the Bishop of Rome. It's like how my Henry II of England is also the second Henry for France while the RL Henry II of France was king, quote: "31 March 1547 – 10 July 1559" and the first Henry of France predates both of Henry IIs in RP or RL. Now... the selection of Innocent III is purposefully symbolic. It may or may not spell potential danger for a certain player.  |

In this alternate timeline a difference Bishop NOT Lotario dei Conti di Segni (Our timelines Innocent III) was elected Pope and took the name Innocent making him the third Pope to take that name and thus he is known as Innocent III IN THIS ALTERNATE timeline. Note capitalisation was for emphasis not to symbolise anger or anything. |
