Ok this is a common misconception that people have. Caesar was indeed never an Emperor, but he basically had the power of an Emperor by his death. His son Augustus became Emperor of Rome.

Saying Caesar was an Emperor is falsehood, not exaggeration. Period. Ok this is a common misconception that people have. Caesar was indeed never an Emperor, but he basically had the power of an Emperor by his death. His son Augustus became Emperor of Rome. I'm aware. I'm also aware that Octavian (later renamed Augustus) wasn't Julius Caesar's biological offspring.

I can't remember who is parents are for sure, but I know that it is theorized that Caesar had a real offspring with Cleopatra. However, that offspring never did anything to my knowledge.

Apparently Caesar's son became the last Pharaoh of Egypt... Search Caesarion if you don't believe me...

I already knew about him, I was just double-checking to make sure my source wasn't a liar.
