I suppose that's fair. I wasn't expecting to take Mongolia either. I planned on taking Colombia but I wanted my nations close together and similar enough in society and culture that I could eventually absorb them and form a "super nation" which would come to wield great power and influence in the region. EDIT: As Ma Clique and Quing Empire are considered tier 4 and Japan as tier 1, what are the odds of me completely subjugating them? Also, how did you classify nations into tiers? Having two nations close together or in a postion to help each other is definetly advantageous. Japan and Mongolia will definetly go together much better than Colombia would have. I'd say your chances of subjugating China is quite high depending on what other players do. Germany's influence in the region is shakey and they have problems closer to home. The US is in no postion to aid China and the British and French Empires are all but destroyed. Russia has significant internal problems and will have another Civil War, like America. The rest of China is fracured and its doubtful they could mount much of a united front. However there are millions of Chinese people who will resist and even if you occupy most of China consolidating and keeping that power will be difficult. You are in a good postion though. Sounds good. I don't plan on subjugating the whole of China though, just what I need and the rest can be puppet states or pay tribute or something similar. I should probably focus on just consolidating my nation as a whole. |

I'm starting to write an outline of some of the possible events for this game. There will be quite a few, especially in 1936 and 37 (there won't be any in 1935 because thats just a set up phase). The game will have two phases per year (eg each year will have a first half and second half phase). I'll be adding rules and game mechanics sometime in the next week hopefully and also information on everyone's country (though I'll probably wait longer for this to see if anyone else joins, we do still need a Russia and depending on what Polenbal says probably a US as well) sooner or later. |

Plus puppet the rest and form a Chinese dynasty led by the Japanese, like the Yuan with the Mongols or the Qing with the Manchu. |

Even before it was paused, it was starting to die, so when everyone gets back, there will probably be a conversation on whether to continue the Crusades RP or start this one. |

Okey dokey. Just a heads up you will get a big rebellion by the Turegs (yes I can't spell it, sorry) and they'll take over much of your territory however they'll be poorly trained millias and their territory will mostly be the crappy desert bits so they should be mostly just an inconvenience. |

Don't know, need some advice on this from y'all. It won't actually be starting too soon so I'd hold off on switching (unless you actually want to be US or Russia). EDIT: Also, I want Spain and either Greece, Romania or Serbia so I like having you as those countries. The only reason why I want India is because somone took the Byhataria (Or however you spell it) Commune and I don't really want it to me too easy for The Spanish Inquisition ot conquer India while I was thinking about sort of controlling India as the leader of the Entente I worry that it may come across as biased and/or unfair. I understand that all the countries I want taken probably won't happen but we'll see how we go and once its closer to starting we can work stuff out. |

That is I'd like at least two in South America, At least two in the Balkans (We have this, Bulgaria and Romania), at least two in India (we have one though Thailand is sort of nearby and India is allied with the Entente) and I also wanted a Spain, Austria and at least one Italy. So far we are pretty close, ideally I'd like another person in South America and somone as the Dominion of India and an Italy though this isn't entirely critical. We are actually actually closer than I ever expected to be with how many people have. I'm hoping Desophaeus and @xxendgamerxx will maybe join when they get back. |
