I'm going to reiterate this: Very few people still play WC2, because it sucks as a game. I urge you to invest effort in learning to mod EW4 or WC3, so your mod can truly be popular

Wc2 is pretty easy to mod since some people can't understand hex editing so they go to WC2 to make it easier. |

I believe he means it makes it easier to make your mod a reality, but I still agree that making it for WC3 would appeal to a much larger audience. |

The Spanish Inquisition we know you don't like wc2 but that not stopping people from modding it. If it pointless to you then it's pointless. But other don't see it as pointless. But Général De Gaulle does mod wc2 and he fine with it.
