Roc 1950 is actually not that difficult with a beast guderian/Rommel Well, you are able to build heavy tanks in Taipei, so assuming you can defend for 7-8 turns it shouldn't be too bad. Is it harder than Turkey 1950? In my experience, ROC is more difficult than Turkey, simply due to the fact that you're surrounded by enemies, you only have one city (weak income), and only one tile outside of city for a land unit to help defend. imo it's more difficult than South Korea.

I think the general strategy for ROC 1950 is you either pretty much escape to Bangkok which has a higher risk of failing, or you can throw your generals on tier-one heavy tanks and make the perilous journey across the Taiwanese strait to China where you will be swarmed by spam. I think option 2 has slightly less risk of failing.

The general strategy for Turkey 1950 from Bruchminati's guide that I only watched for about 5 minutes and my personal strategy combined: First, throw one of your tank gens on the medium tank on Istanbul. Not your best tank gen, but someone like Graziani. He will defend against the Balkans and hopefully tank out Bulgaria for a frontline defense. You should also steal Athens when it has no health.
From Ankara, you pump out the rest of your tank gens and one of your less good arty gens like Zhang. Z.Z or Zhukov or Leeb. Send the other one to help with your tank gen that's from Istanbul. Dump your naval general on the destroyer in the port and hopefully weaken Donestk to you can take it. Then, send him to Egypt where he will probably die. Take out the Middle East fast to prevent spam. COncentrate attack on one country and that will be better than spreading out all your tank gens. With the Middle East cleared, it's up to you now. Either send some of your tank gens to Egypt, the USSR, China, our the Balkan front that I am guessing is about to collapse. It's best to send them up to the Eastern part of the Soviet Union and China and the Balkan front but that can change. But I will be sending a tank gen to each of the fronts and an arty gen to where ever that needs an arty gen. Then, it's totally up to you

Thanks. BTW, pz2020, what country are you playing as for 1980 on your first run?

I think option 2 has slightly less risk of failing. Yep, escaping elsewhere is the key. In one conquest, I fled to central USSR and started taking cities there. I think I was able to grab Yekaterinburg, which if I recall, I could build heavy tanks there. Of course you need to capture France's port near Thailand to stay alive until you get that first city. I forgot how many turns that took. If I had to guess, I'd say 70s.

Happy first post, ziro, and welcome to the forum! I hope you'll find this place useful in sending your units to victory :) If you want to reply to a really long post, I suggest simply pressing "quick reply" (IDK if it exists on mobile) at the bottom of the thread or the reply button at the top of the thread. Quoting will make your reply much longer and what you want to say may be lost in the post.
