It is believed in wc4 for territory to fall another color it's city must be captured by said power, so allies can move through without ruining your glorious country's map

That's what ET games already have. If country A conquers country B, all of country B's remaining land now belongs to A.

But, There is difference. If a ally troop moves your conquered land, Your fellow land turns rainbow.Plus, We cannot take border until capture a city.So we cannot build fortress. As I said at beggining, In WC4, Our ally cannot take border. That is the difference.

I expect every city to have it owns territory.
In the trailer we can see that despite other countries inside the area, it still belongs to the country who owns the city.
I think if you capture los Angelos you will get all area around la, if you capture moscow you get all area around moscow etc.

It also gets really annoying when the AI sends a single infantry unit from Europe to Asia through the Soviet Union and leave a beautiful streak all over your land. Perhaps having solid country borders, maybe even having said borders defending the country and stopping invaders or something

They don't even follow any sort of logical path at times. The Japanese troops in Siberia and the Far East is just jokes. They don't look over to fill in the whole Russian-occupied land, they outright send a single trooper straight up North and then straight East/West. In general the AI will stain your beautiful maps by drawing a line from the Iberian Peninsula to Indochina

(btw stolen from facebook, credits to chesda) In this picture you can see manstein inside the soviet border, yet you don't see the land changed in favour of the germans. Also if you look right you see a gray line. I think this gray line marks the border between in this case Minsk and the other cities. I think you need to capture Minsk to gain all area inside this grey line circling it.
