We are complete opposite. I took London on like turn 5, won with Prussia against half of Europe and am specialized on land battles but a complete noob at sea battles You just have to have a Chief of Staff perspective XD Prussia as ally is very respectable, especially for France. Howd you do it? After destroying Europe with my armies I finally landed in Moscow ~ turn 50 and the Americas were mostly mine and some parts of India too

How much is that on steam? And any recommendation abt pc speccification for this? They go on sale multiple times per year. Put them on your wish lis, wait a bit, and they will come down to $15 or less including DLC's.

AlsoI have won as France, but that playthrough ironically I did not take over the world, just much of Europe I've won as every faction on every TW through Napoleon. So if you have anything specific just ask. The key as usual is economics. You don't want the biggest armies, just the best that will break army after army sent against you.

Lets fire the entire army! That'll fix EVERYTHING What? Are you talking about Empire Total War or Napoleon Total War? Historically Prussia won every war it fought until WWI and even then fought the rest of Europe to a standstill. In the game they didn't stand out as very difficult or lacking in money. I'd argue there is a user error issue. If you want a full navy and a bunch of troop stacks of course you are going broke. Step #1 NO navy until you control central Europe. Step 2 You only need 2-3 troop stacks one to fight in the west, one to fight in the East, and maybe one to watch Austria. Never leave more troops on a city than necessary. Step 3 Use diplomacy to get trade agreements with everyone you're not at war with. You want a broke tough to play faction try Russia in Medieval II. You spend the first 30-40 rounds with only enough cash for 1/2 a troop stack, and you better be good because 12+ armies are coming for you almost from the start.

To be fair I did try to make a modest navy because I allied w/ Russia (big mistake) because Russia, turn two, declared war on Sweden and Poland-Lithuania. I had to develop my army to fight off Poland and a Navy to open my ports up again because Sweden's navy was blackading me. Ergo, Prussia at turn 13 had no monies left. Prussia was sad. Prussia got mad and went and burned down Warsaw.
