My birthday is in a bit more than 7 days' time.
My nation's next fixed school holiday period (except for those in collage and higher because they do start school late) is coming in about the same time as my birthday.
We basically have 10 weeks of school, a week of holiday for March and September, 1 month for May-June and the rest of the year from Oct till school reopens in Jan.
Then again, Northern Hemisphere school days and holidays definitely will differ from those in the South.

Apple pie, on of the oldest pies on earth. With he first recipes dating back from the 1300th it's still as popular as back then. Still the most eaten pie in Western Europe and North America and one of the most iconic desserts from Brittain, absolutely delicious. I am thinking maybe this is due to the huge variaty in the apple fruit itself: there are over 7,500 varieties of apples grown throughout the world. This means you can make apple pie flavor fit whatever region, culture, tradional taste people want. True, looking at how different the French and the american apple pie look, you can certainly say there's a lot of variety between different countries. |
