We're going to propose a scenario in history in which one thing was changed. There is going to be one question per day. Please let other ask questions as well. I'm going to start with today's ( Suvorov you will like this one) : What if... Suvorov never had been born?

If Suvorov had never been born? I'm not well versed in Russian military or history, but I would say that the 60 major operations that Suvorov led would have gone quite badly for the Russians. They would definetly not have as much of a prominent impact against Napoleon

I'd go as far as saying that the Ottomans might would have won the war. The Polish uprising would have went longer. And Masséna would have a much easier job in Italy.

Somehow Ottoman always slips my mind. Whenever I play EW4 Ottoman is just an annoying fly to swat. Now I forget all about them lol

What if.. Dieppe raid was never launched? Very simple: Canada wouldn't hate Mounbatten Jokes aside, it would make the allied landing on D-Day alot harder without the experience from Dieppe. If the landing would still work? Yes. If it would be with more allied casualties? Yes

If it would be with more allied casualties? Yes Yes, Allies learned a hard way from Dieppe raid. It helped the Allies prepare Operation Torch, Operation Husky (invasion of sicily) and D-Day. Although Mountbatten got a beating, the Dieppe raid did help the Allies

What if...Italy was actually competent during WWII and could take out Greece and the British in Egypt without German assistance? (Not likely in the slightest, but still an interesting question to think about).

Then Germany have 3 months to spare in Barbarossa, no British fleet in Mediterania, no Invasion of Sicily, more commander and troops in Barbarossa (no DAK), more competent Italian troops helping Germany in Barbarossa and Fall Blau, more oil for Germany and Italy (Middle East), more casualties in D-Day (maybe even a failure).. So many things that could be good for the Axis side if Italy is competent and effective..

Yeah, you know your country is weak when flicking Romania is a better ally of the Germans instead of your strong Italy.
