But no U.S? It has the best economic general (Washington, at least in my opinion), some other kick *Auto corrected* generals, great location, great allies, and can dominate anyone in their path if played by the right person.

But besides U.S, I will agree that many nations are extremely strong, particularly Britain, Prussia, Russia, Ottomans, france, Spain, Portugal if played correctly. Overall great roster.

Yeah in the American conquest mode both the British and the USA are way over powered compared to anyone else.

I'd really doubt that America can be considered anywhere near the "strongest". America's talent pool is a bit lacklustre; while it has decent generals none of them are exactly top notch either. I mean it has Hull, but he only shines due to his ridiculous cost effectiveness... and Dearborn (of all the people!) has decent stats but his skills are not anything amazing. Also it flat out loses to its British counterpart in both scenarios due to its atrocious positioning. Especially in 1775, like bloody hell.
Anyway, noone beats France in terms of sheer talent pool. Sure, a lot of its generals have too much baggage in terms of skills (I'm looking at you, Napoleon), but it definitely has a lot of them, and while they may not be the best, they sure are still above average. Second place definitely goes to Russia though.

Id beg to differ. I can win as America much more effiecently than any country in Europe, which is due to it's huge size on the map. Plus it has good generals jb my opinion, like I said, washington is my favorite economic general. To to each his own.

It's the economy(good territory and towns)+the militia are seriously overpowered. Go in game look at US militia stat and compare that to normal militia (1~5 damage) !
Same with machine gun they also have the best bonus in the world for that unit too.
But yeah US generals are pretty bad.
