I want to know how to edit country borders and which program can open .btl file for edit...and does borders have relation with hex mapping (Which I don't understand it)

I don't believe it works like that because, I don't pay for my Google drive files. If you have to ask for permission than link sharing was turned off by the creator. The modder must have not wanted anyone to have it no more. You do however have to download the Google drive file again after 1 week of installing it. |

I am a very open person, and I have no problem to show my personality or give my data. But I know how worthfull in $ (big-)data is. And the business rule says: If data has a price, somebody else expects to gain profit (more $) with this. So I want full contol over, which private informations I share! As long, I don't get any reasonable benefit, I don't need that the CIA is recording which video I was interrested in, 15 years ago. I am not US-citicen, so Civil rights are not for me - and 7 Bil. others. The Scandal E.Snowden uncovered was: The NSA (>50000 agents, budget > 10000 mil US$/year) is attacking even US-americans - not only foreigners ! The NSA has full and hidden supervisor access to all databases, that contain even records from foreigners (means: almost all business expect US-military) (patiot act) and they use it - extensive. Sharing my private adressbook with facebook (like how many  people) - for such a bad sevice - why? No Whatsup Google deleted already their company-claim: "Don't be evil" years ago. This claim was in respect, understanding which power they have. Many coutries make today privacy illegal: Are you shure you are allowed to sign your mail with a longer (not so easy to crack) key? Using a 500 letter password (4k encryption) is in most countries absolutely illegal - why ? For the small girlies: If you want a fake-lock at your diary - you are terrorist, or at lest suspect. I also like having my privacy as well but, true privacy is almost impossible. You are right about companies and corporations using your data to earn profits. I wish that could change but, I don't believe any company would give up making profits. The main problem is large companies like Google instantly destroy all disobedience. This leaves us with little alternatives to find better internet and privacy. |

Most common is to use an editor that displays 4-bit as one 'digit' (0-f). This is called hexadecimal. A hex(adecimal)-editor has nothing to do with a six-corner Hex-field. I either have no idea what hex mapping is. How to set the borders: What I found, and like to discuss: Putting an unit outside the map or on a hex with no *count*ry stopps the game. (Is this correct?) ET sets all empty water hex to no owner (country -1), I set the owner of all water hex to country 0 - it seems to make no difference for the gameplay, but without the FF in the border-section, the few battlefiles I patched, were much easier to handle and caused less problems. |
