Hello again ! This time is going to be the mighty Red Bear. Soviet Union in 1943 difficultly is unpredictable depends on your move of the army. Every single moves will be monitor by the AI so move wisely. 1. We gonna start off with European Theather. We have 3 main target to start on. We have Leningrad, Stalingrad & Moscow. First thing I did was abandon Leningrad. Sound crazy but it worked. If u keep on defending Leningrad there will be a massive Panzerkampfwagens marching towards Leningrad. So I moved two units back to Moscow. 2. At Moscow we have Rokkossovsky. We have Vasilevsky at Yaterkerinberg. We have 3 tanks at south of Moscow. 4 armor units at Bylerussia. Here is the plan: - Don’t station troops at Moscow cause Guderian will be attacking Moscow. Germany major target is Moscow. So I evacuated all troops and surrounded Guderian which make him freeze/confused at the same time. As I defeated Guderian, I marched across to Minsk. Minsk is a huge stronghold. Manstein will be spawned there so call up the two troops at Leningrad and help ya. - Don’t forget to Upgrade HQ at Moscow so that u can lots of money - Artillery 1st Tanks 2nd Airbone 3rd 3. Stalingrad we have Vatutin, Chukoiv, Zhukov, Konev. Four of them are enough. Enemies at the Balkan, Italy, Hungary,Romania will try to breakthrough Stalingrad but you can take them with Rocket Artilleries. Kiev is easy to take. Just use more Artillery firepower .org/image/l0pi3dtw5/] 4. Asian Theather is a small threats. Move your troops from Siberia to help at Kharborosvk. Japanese generals Yamashita will be presented there so retreat to Kharbarosvk and encircle him. Build artillery and march toward Peking. .org/image/8wfajinbp/] .org/image/6uet59pcl/] .org/image/oqekioc5x/]

Is Sword-&-Shield Doctrine the best option we have?
Is there no other way besides trading space for time?

Is a similar result possible without good generals?

Depend on the usage of your generals. Result might be varies depend on your western front. If you can defend then there would be any problems.

Is a similar result possible without good generals? If you mean getting rank S then yes. IMO, USSR 1943 starts with a lot of good generals so your line-up does not make much difference. Unless you have IAP general, that is. IMO, AI controlled Japan is pretty weak since it has a lot of ships but not tanks.
