Why are Southern Sweden and Southern Finland counted as "The South Baltic?" Technically south baltic are from semigallia to almost border of ukraine, as a matter of fact Moscow technically is eastern Baltic and Prussia is western Baltic although Baltic tribes up to 13century were commonly found even in Scotland and some say that some of the Scottish tribes were coming from Baltics and there's a lot of information to support that, but tbh I'm not sure if I believe they survived that long as separate tribes most likely they were already mixed with others by 4th century as it happened in most of the rest of western Europe, if you are interested in genetics there was a research that states every person living in Europe with clear lineage in Europe longer than 2-3centuries have a part of Baltic genes, well I have to say don't know about 2-3 centuries, but people from central and eastern Europe has actual relation with Balts as they lived from Moscow to Scotland for long time while we talk only about Greece in history archeologists have found a lot of proof for that and DNA is something you can't fake, I'm not going in details, but fact is balts lived in most of Europe with exception of Balkans and Scandinavia and my bet is they weren't very active in Spain and Italy neither... Edit: Note most of the Baltic population in Europe was during period of 20000b.c. up to 800b.c. and after that they started to mix with others very fast in central Europe...
