Actually, Jean Lannes, I'll make you an offer that you'll hopefully accept for the well being of your Swiss state. Here's this secret treaty the United States and its allies think is best: The Treaty of Berlin: Swiss troops withdraw from most of Austria They are allowed to keep the far western corridor of the country They take Sardinia-Piedmont and South Tyrol from Italy The Germans and Italians give their exclaves in Switzerland to the Swiss State Switzerland must join NATO and fight the Russians Germany marches in after the Swiss troops withdraw and annex the rest of Austria If You accept the treaty, here is what will happen: Switzerland will help Nato Italy will turn against NATO as a large chunk of their land was given away. Thus, Italy joins the Russians Switzerland will grow even stronger and will gain a sea port Germany will start building up their army with American approval If you don't accept, here's what will happen: NATO nukes Switzerland Austria remains independent Germany will keep the same moderately sized army Italy stays in NATO The Swiss join the Russians Id recommend option #1. |

You must sign a non aggression pact with NATO. You can also sign one with the Russians, idc if you want to sign one with them to. Just no alliance with them. We're really just trying to appease you so that you don't f us up in France or something like that. |

Ok here is the result: Switzerland stays neutral, seizes ~1/10 of Austrian land and some smaller places at the Italian and German border. Switzerland signs non-aggression pacts with both NATO and Russia.
