You mean there is no any real strategy for 1980 1*country but pure luck? Like You need to play Soviets in 1939, to get to rockets in 1943 and to nukes in 1950 asap in order to make a record.
All the advices like ports and cities stealing is just general stuff we use in all conquests whenever it is possible.
So no real strategy for 1980? Just need to be lucky?

I hoped there are some tricks for 1980 which I couldn't find. You can check my video which I published earlier here (check the very start - attack on Athens). Maxed generals won't give You too big advantage. P.S.: Write Saltin, so he could include You into the World Fastest Conqueror group. |

1950 conquest is not that easy... especially when you have poor tech and not enough generals. Most cities in 1950:Short description: 0-40 turns conquering Japan and Australia 40-80 fighting the wall of Pan-European forces which took European Russian.. slowly pushing and also achieving naval supremacy in Pacific 80-110 clearing Europe and setting a foothold in Canada 110-120 Spamming missiles, paratroopers and strategic bombers ... if a 100.000 got me A I will be somewhat mad  .org/]  [/url] |

Seeing this thread with loads of images makes me think: Is there a way to have the "spoiler" tab or sth like that, to hide images in one tab and people can browse past it (especially when quoting) without looking at all the pics.

Yes, just type [spoiler*] stuff you want to hide [/spoiler*] without the * in the [ ]. The * are there to prevent the function from activating. |
