I advise some records as in with x country in x time conquer x nation. So we do not literally have to peform a whole conquest till it is completed

If you have any suggestions for a future category don't hesitate to ask! I think setting speed records in scenarios could be interesting. Something like 3 criteria: first is turns used, if turns are equal, than wins that who used less gens, if gens are equal too, than wins the one who has more resources in total gold+cogs+tech. If it makes too much records, only some of scenarios may be available for records. |

Second try was a bit better. Now it's 2 records, so average one record per try still remains. 39, 15 turns, 262810 pts: fastest and high score.  Income screens of every 3rd turn (if needed I have income and map screens for every turn). Gens the same as here: european-war-4.boards.net/thread/8294/final-lineup-iaps , no upgrades made, so skills are the same, since that time only bought Rokosovsky and Patton without any upgrades. Strategy was quite straightforward: just all out attack from the very beginning. Units in north-west attacked Germany passing Poland, some left to attack Finland, other in Europe attacked Romania and Bulgaria. In far east just attacked Japan. After capturing Germany moved further to Spain, after Romania and Bulgaria to Italy, Thailand just captured with paratroopers in last turn. |

Max Otto von Stierlitz How much time does it take to finish such a conquest? I would like to figure it out what conquest year is most productive resource wise/time (besides waiting for daily rewards from wonders).

Other were longer, I don't remember exactly, for example, 1980 I was playing for some 4-5 days. Something around 1-2 hours a day, but that was totally without gens. Also keep in mind that each turn I played quite slowly and checked everything each turn. If your aim is just to get resources, you can be much less careful and play much faster. I think 1980 have to be the best choice for that, especially if your biggest problem is tech (which most likely is). Just raise tech as fast as you can to get missiles and than proceed with missiles only. I think this must be the fastest way to farm resources. But it requires your attention all the time. I farmed scenarios on autoplay from the first turn. This way is a bit slower, but it requires your attention only for some 5% of farming time. |

Hmm... looks like it's interesting to play with gens. 1 try - 3 records. 50, fastest 1 star, fastest SK: 34 turns and high score: 255547. Income screens of every 3rd turn (if needed, I have all income and map screens except 1 map): I lost my interest (at least for a while) after completing the game. But there are still records I'm interested in. I mean fastest conquests in every year. I think 1943 has the best potential to be the fastest conquest of the game. I think I can improve my record and beat it in 14 turns. But I doubt that I can do it in 13 turns (at least for now). I'm curious whether or not you can do it in 13 turns  I've heard that the world record is 10 turns, but I have no clue how/if they verify it in chinese forums... |

Regarding 43 I don't know, haven't played it with gens yet, but assuming that gens which you used for 15 turns could be upgraded very much (some even replaced for maximizing performance), there have to be potential to increase results. I think finish in 10 turns could be real for 39. Others I haven't played 3 stars with gens, but according to GP top looks like it's possible to clear very fast. My current results are just from first try (except of soviets 39, which I played 2 times), also quite much left to upgrade my gens, so I think they can be improved quite notably. |
