Hmm thailand. Doesnt seem like a bad idea even though the spam will be of concern, will try to lure chinese generals towards me with my generals, and rush naval units to barricade the american nations from spamming both the asian and europe fronts. Thanks for the suggestion!

NetherFreek , insane record achieved again by me, not in terms of least turns, but least cities. Beat The Conqueror of least 75 cities, with my 2 cities for 1943. I used Cuba(2 starting cities and one port heheheh). Secured naval dominance both in the metiderranean and the pacific, so that the axis can't annihilate africa, brazil can establish a foothold on dakar, and the japanese navy can be defeated asap for the allied spam to counter the axis spam coming from defeated russia. Spawned fully upgraded Guderian in a triple-stacked medium tank and sent him to asia to help with the romanians and the italians. Full technology used.  biggest thing hampering progress was the lack of tech resources for spawning of carriers and cruisers, essential in this record. Got a load of help from dowding.  first time im actually proud of my allies lol.  the spam makes my eyes hurt  way too easy for my allies, especially with arnold and nimitz at the bottom ensuring that the remaining enemy cities can't spawn anything.  voila 2 cities. if matthew did this he would get 0 or 1 cities like his 1939 record lol

Ok, just now I done up a conquest. 1950 south korea. Was just trying it out to see whether it was feasible enough to challenge max's 34 turns. Halfway through on my first attempt, I noticed how well it was actually going but did not bother to take screenshots as I thought I would definitely lag up somewhere. In the end, I tried hard to complete it and got this achivement, beating Max Otto von Stierlitz 's record by 1 turn:  Lol im aware im not yet in that circle of trust where I do not need screenshots to get my record validated, but I'll just try again with screenshots and hope to break the record. It was pretty tough though considering the huge amount of luck needed at the start. NetherFreek , Deleted , stoic , once I beat this record again, I will be able to go on to beat several more with s korea so do stay tuned Oh yes and I also beat the highscore with this record for 1950. A pity both can't be accepted though |

Ok, just now I done up a conquest. 1950 south korea. Was just trying it out to see whether it was feasible enough to challenge max's 34 turns. At 2am, after like 30 tries of south korea I still naively believed in a slogan I had used to keep me trying: They shall not pass!, i.e. I will not give in to misfortune. However, I literally crashed at 2 45am and gave up after a grand total of 50 tries, all restarted due to lack of luck. This morning did another 14 tries to no avail, and I officially raise the white flag lel, not going to attempt this accursed record anymore. In detail, either Guderian and Rommel spawned in seoul gets wiped out, bagramyan comes, taiwan is taken within 3 turns, thailand controls SEA within 3 turns, Japan loses its naval warfare, mongolia mobilises in turn 2, the city abive pyongyang is defended desperately, nanking is held on tightly with heavy tanks, kuznetsov gives up on tokyo and attacks seoul instead, the north korean general keeps activating cover, Chinese infantry generals refuse to go into the water but slowly destroy my generals on land, rokossovsky goes after me(yes, on my 20th attempt I conquered china but roko in the balkans just turned around with a few super heavies and utterly destroyed me), the soviets paratroop tokyo in turn 5 and many other rng based mishaps. Well guess my 33 turn record had one in a millionth chance of succeeding, and Im not going to waste my life dedicated to that probability HAHA, guess I'm giving up now and will try to conquest NetherFreek's alternate records |
