I assume this should be a record, unless someone's done less than me. 27 cities vs the 69 listed. Cuba 1950.

Idk why but my fastest record is the 1980 conquests (Germany in 25 rounds) instead of the 1939 ones.

That's because usually the chips have been played by turn 15, and plus your allies are actually somewhat useful this time. Usually a conquest w/ generals only takes around 35 turns on average (unless you're maining USA).

Are there records for individual countries or just the whole conquest?

Are there records for individual countries or just the whole conquest? Whole conquest. For ew6 because different countries have different neutral country triggers they have individual slots, but for wc4 its pretty much a broad category.

So you mean to tell me spending two months trying to speed run 1939 Belgium was a waste of time?JK.

I am really curious how Mr. Stierlitz obtained 12 rounds in both 1939 and 43. My record in both Is 13 but was at the absolute end of 13, rather than 13 with plenty of moves and money left. I am genuinely curious as to what he did.
I do think the optimization of generals across eras, and, especially, campaign vs conquest matters. Rumor has little usage on Guderian in 39’ but plain fighting certainly does, but I do not see this making a difference of an entire round.
I will be trying some runs today though.

Anyways, I can sense you tying up with his records, seeing how close you are. We speedrunners just need Lady Luck to shine on our attempts!

I was just one port away from tying the 3 Star 43’ record Hopefully I will get it in the upcoming days.
