This was my best run yet. All but one port for Spain on 11, Germany in 8, Finland in 9, Italy in 10, and everything in Japan but the Canadian port in 11... the cruiser was also 1/5 heath with two land tanks, a sub, and a destroyer near it but the Canadians could not do it anyway...

In this run I had to airstrike a cruiser in NE Japan, airstrike a destroyer in the Tokyo port, and I used artillery and infantry to kill the destroyer in the Seoul port. The strategy is to get as many ports without resistance (waiting for Jap. cruisers to fight the US) or to kill easier targets in ports (destroyers rather than cruisers). If a cruiser waited in port the whole game, I will not kill them until round 11 because spending the money to get a port gaining $10 and spending money on subs to defend them is worse than using that money to capture cities, gaining much more from them. Capturing Bangkok is a lot of RNG. Even sending all three motorized infantry from the E and hitting it every round last ~7 leaves room for allies to not hit it for much. The situation with Japanese ports is equally as bad. Having a general in a cruiser on round 11 costs money one does not have. Spain does not have much, sometimes they put more non-infantry in cities than I’d like. Italy is mostly tied to the SE Africa cities, sometimes I need to send 3 paratroopers, sometimes nothing. The German port can be annoying, and sometimes Finland, with artillery strikes every round possible from 3 arty (one bought on round 2, one on 3, the other coming from the default on at Moscow) sometimes needs air strikes. This was a long post!

If you have another phone or have no intention on finishing the campaign, do not buy rumor as it is only useful in 1980 (I think at least, have not played that one in a year) and the modern war campaign. With another phone you can complete the game with rumor and then save the game to another phone, then on whichever you like convert your rumor skills to damage perks to optimize for 1939 and 43’ records, and still have an equally upgraded account for 1980 ones at some point.

If you have another phone or have no intention on finishing the campaign, do not buy rumor as it is only useful in 1980 (I think at least, have not played that one in a year) and the modern war campaign.
