Timed a Finland 39 conquest and it was 2 hrs 3 minutes and 31 seconds. Best way to farm imo. Gens, upgrades, and change of tactics please. Gens Auchinleck Leeb Manstein Yamamoto Only upgrade was to yamamoto's rank once tech .org/] .org/] .org/] .org/] .org/] What I did was focus on the SU at the start. I deployed my generals with the expection of Auchinleck quickly. I spammed howitzers and moved one group of them towards Moscow and the other group south. Eventually the main SU defense is down and mainly built Mechanzied infantry and light tank to quickly capture their remaining city. It was not difficult to defeat India and China. I stole a port from Japan to build subs and clear the way for my land units to get midway and Hawaii. I had one group of units get a foothold in Alaska. Near the end when I had great income I just used airstrikes/missiles and paratroopers to capture the rest of North America and the pacific. When Mannerheim lost much of his HP I left him at Helsinki to heal. Once he is healed I use him to lead the attack on Norway and UK. I used airstrikes to destroy the sub on the port near Oslo and captured it to spawn subs. The subs will destroy the aircraft carriers and clear the sea for invasion of UK. I land the troops north near Glasglow and than moved south to take London.

Have you ever done this conquest before having any great general (including Manstein) or significant upgrades?

Don't know what my exact tech was but it was certainly less than what I had here.

Everything is easier with better tech and generals. It’s just a question of reducing the time it takes.

Great guide though and I did a bit longer on it but its worth it I had a bit of spare money lying around and since I knew I was going to play this game for a long time I decide to but Manstein. I brought him after 1 month.

I have found a gold mine :0) At least it seems so... Dunkirk (hard) auto battle. 4 atemts - 4 wins (all of them with 3 stars). With the speed of the game max out it will take 3-5 minutes... I have 3 generals, btw... My fingers can rest a bit :0)

Are the daily resource reward wonders really worth the cost? I mean 20,000 industry for the gold one is a lot for me. I've played the game F2P for a couple of days and I've accumulated about 6000 industry although I'm stuck on the ally and axis campaigns and domination missions now so I don't think I'll be getting many resources soon, although I got Leeb with my earnt medals. I did some quick maths and the opera house at 500 industry a day would take 40 days to pay off the cost of Borobudur, with the 10,000 gold a day.

Just like the Landmark Buildings in the game, the wonders that provide resources over time have to be seen as a long term investment. I prioritized upgrading technology, in part because it wasn’t going to take me 40 days to do so. I mean, you get $45k the first time you complete a hard mode Cold War scenario. You $4,500 when you replay them. So $10,000 a Day seems rather paltry.

Ehh, I just go with the wonders because I still haven't gotten used to WC4.

Also seeing as I haven't saved up enough for any wonders yet, do they reward you automatically each day, or do you have to keep checking in

If you are going to play the game for any long period of time than yes I would say they are worth it. 40 days sounds pretty reasonable to me for paying the cost off and than making the profit.
